Per Hjartøy - President
As President, Per Hjartøy is responsible
for overseeing Actius' overall direction and strategy.
Per has done business in more than thirty countries, with
extensive experience working with Asian, North American and
European computer and communications companies. His industry
experiences exhibit the successful fulfillment of various roles
ranging from IT consultant for large European firms like Ericsson
and Daimler Benz, to manager of joint ventures between mutinational
corporations like that of SAP AG and Apple Computer, Inc.
Per has been a consultant for manufacturers and users of large
Internet and Intranet systems including Apple Computer, Bay
Networks, Netdynamics, Oracle Corp., SAP AG, StorageTek, Synopsis,
and Charles Schwab & Company, Inc. In addition, for startup
companies, he has served in the roles of Chief Technology Officer,
VP of Engineering, and Principal Architect. While serving
as Principal Architect, his focus has been on the deployment
of advanced software architectures and business solutions for
business process integration (XML based) and software for financial
services on the Internet.
Among Per's many accomplishments is the design and delivery
of advanced security management software for the World Wide
Web.
Additionally, Per has worked with companies to clarify business
requirements geared toward implementing the development of
Financial Systems. Providing a technical and organizational
viewpoint, as well as expert witnessing, he also has 20 years
of development experience by way of providing consulting services
to legal firms and corporations.
Per Hjartøy received his MBA from The
Norwegian School of Management, Oslo. He received
his MS in Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin,
Madison.
Nerissa Chang - Chief Operating Officer
As COO, Nerissa Chang's primary responsibilities include guiding
Actius' solutions development and supporting sales and marketing
initiatives.
Nerissa's industry experience encompasses a variety of management,
development and technical roles where she has served as a pioneering
force for numerous companies.
Nerissa was Senior Director of Professional
Services at ModelN where she was responsible for the company's
multi-million dollar customer projects. At Scient Corporation,
she was pivotal in growing the Singapore office servicing Asian
businesses establishing Internet business models and capabilities. At
Nortel Networks, Nerissa initiated and established the development
of the corporation's Internet commerce capabilities. Her efforts
were instrumental in the development of technology for a new
generation of interactive business applications intended to
engage customers and suppliers in the dynamic exchange of information. Nerissa
has also held senior management and technical positions at
Cisco Systems and IBM, where she led the design and development
of large-scale information warehouse and internet-based systems.
While a Managing Director at Charles Schwab & Co,
Nerissa was responsible for defining and deploying retail Internet
offerings that leveraged leading-edge technologies.
Nerissa Chang received her B.S. degrees in Computer Science
and in Applied Mathematics from the California State University.
